Dr. Neelesh Tiwari, Founder of World Brain Center Hospital, established the institution with a vision to make mental healthcare and neurological services more accessible and to promote timely, appropriate clinical assessment.

The inspiration behind this vision came from the tragic loss of a patient named Mahesh, whose experience highlighted the difficulties families may face when deciding whether to consult a neurologist, neurosurgeon or psychiatrist. The delay in identifying the appropriate specialist underscored the importance of greater awareness, timely medical guidance and access to appropriate care.

This experience strengthened Dr. Tiwari’s resolve to develop a healthcare institution focused on understanding patients’ needs, facilitating appropriate clinical evaluation and helping individuals and families navigate their healthcare journey with greater clarity and confidence.

Dr. Nivenjeet Tiwari completed her M.B.B.S. from G.S.V.M. Medical College, Kanpur, followed by an M.S. from King George’s Medical University, Lucknow.

She subsequently completed her Senior Residency at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, and went on to serve as an Assistant Professor at the Army College of Medical Sciences, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi.

In 2010, she earned an M.B.A. in Hospital Management, further broadening her academic background to include healthcare administration.

Dr. Niyati Shaukand is a medical doctor specialising in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health conditions. She recognises that mental wellbeing is closely connected to physical health and that each patient’s concerns and circumstances deserve thoughtful attention.

Her approach includes considering coexisting medical conditions, such as heart disease and high blood pressure, while assessing mental health needs. She also monitors the potential physical effects of psychiatric medications, including changes in weight, blood sugar, blood pressure and sleep, as well as kidney and liver function when clinically indicated.

By taking physical health, medication effects and individual needs into account, Dr. Shaukand aims to support informed treatment decisions, appropriate monitoring and respectful, patient-centred care.

Damini Sharma is a Counselling Psychologist with over 5 years of experience providing psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions for individuals across diverse age groups. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and specializes in working with concerns related to depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, de-addiction, relationship difficulties, family conflicts, and other mental health challenges. She adopts an eclectic, client-centered approach, tailoring therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each individual. Her practice is grounded in trauma-informed principles, ensuring a safe, empathetic, and empowering therapeutic environment. Damini also provides queer-affirmative care, fostering an inclusive and non-judgmental space that respects and affirms diverse identities and lived experiences. With experience in both online and offline counselling settings, she is committed to supporting clients in enhancing emotional well-being, developing resilience, improving relationships, and achieving meaningful personal growth.
